Introduction Promo:

A fire is heard crackling as the scene fades in. Night. A clearing in woods. A hooded man is sitting with his back to the camera, wisps of smoke rising from a campfire in front of him. Around him, children are sitting on logs. They're staring at the man with alomst horrified looking expressions. A light breeze rustles the trees. Before any of them speak, a sharp sound of static is heard and the scene cuts to a room, almost completely dark. In what little light there is, a figure is seen. It's hard to make out, as the light - apparently from an unseen candle - flickers. It appears to be human, but the face is obscured by what could be thick strands of hair.

Whispers of children are then heard. Not everything they say is clear, but what can be heard seems to be a warning.


An inhuman sounding screech is heard and the scene cuts back to the campfire. This time the man, with an obvious Irish accent, begins to speak.

Man: I'm sure you've all heard the legend. It's older than written literature. There was an ancient deity; King of a powerful group of people similar to the Greek Titans. This lot was known as the Fomorians. Now, these people were not all nice an' pretty as people like to depict groups like Goddesses and Fae. These Fomorians were terrible. Corrupt. Their leader was the worst of 'em all.

The children gasp. The static sound is heard again, followed by a very brief cut to the flickering candle room again, then back to the woods.

Man: This leader. He was known as Balor. He was a giant who had one eye in the center of his head, and one jus' like it in the back. No one could sneak up on him. And these eyes: they were capable of destruction. They were able to carve holes in the mountains themselves with beams of energy!

Some of the younger children whimper in fear, a few of the older ones look excited. One raises a hand before quietly asking a question.

Man: What happened to 'im? *the child nods* Well, some say he was defeated. Some say he survived and lived on, some say he's still out there now...

The inhuman cry is heard again as the scene flickers between various images. The figure in the candle room. A painted, monsterous eye. A red mist. The children's warning whispers can be heard again.


Finally,  the man is shown from the front. However, his face is mostly shadowed. What is clear though is his sinister grin.

Man: Some say, a man defeated Balor and took his power...

The scene flickers out to black before the red mist appears again. After a moment, a figure becomes visible, seemingly crawling up out of the mist. The scene cuts out with another inhuman cry.
